Three Zimbelstern (bell star) sample are included below. The zimbelstern had its main use in Lutheran churches. It is a mechanical device with a number of bells mounted in a circle. In the middle of the circle is a turning device with metal rods hanging down. As it turns the rods bump against each bell and ring it. True zimbelsterns are available for Rodgers organs but cost a few thousand dollars.
Try loading the 3 samples below, one at a time, to a floppy disk. They are labeled: Zimbelstern, Zimbelsternl, and Zimbelsternr. Note the "l" and "r". These were given to me. The "l" and "r" determines the channels the sound emits from, near as I can tell. Try each one on your organ and see which one you like the best. Then delete the one you do not want. Click below to follow the link. Each one must be "sent" individually.
