This sequence of "Beneath the Cross of Jesus" uses the following registrations:
SW - 8' Bourdon, 8' Gemshorn Celeste II, 4' Copula, MIDI on SW Choir Aahs 2 (PC#53, VAR 32, VEL 8)
GT - 8' Flute Celeste II, SW to GT
PD - 16' Bourdon Doux, GT to PD, SW to PD
Note the low velocity setting of the Choir Aahs. These can sound very artificial unless blended with a soft flute and/or strings. A low velocity setting, in this case "8", gives a more off in the distance feel to the choir. Choir Aahs 2 sounds better than Choir Aahs (PC#53, VAR 0). When it is time for the choir the left hand is moved to the SW keeping the voices in the bass and tenor range, kind of a men's chorus. At times both hands are on the GT also. I did not bring the right hand up to the SW at all so as to keep the voices in the low register.
As the hymn progresses more registration is added.
